Due to the climate conditions of Cyprus, the periods of abundant rainfall are important for the planted seedlings to take root. Therefore, it is recommended to plant saplings in January-April.

Sapling donation unit price is 10 TL, e-Fidan certificate of appreciation is sent in return for your donation of minimum 1 sapling and a maximum of 200 saplings. Donations of more than 200 saplings are made to the TRNC Forestry Department against bank transfer or hand receipt.

2. After selecting the number of saplings you prefer to donate, enter the 10-digit number of your Kuzey Kıbrıs Turkcell postpaid line.
3. You can complete the process by entering the type of donation you will make, your e-mail address and, if you wish, the e-mail address of the person to whom you will gift the sapling.
4. After the donation is made to the specified e-mail address, the certificate will be sent.

Sapling planting areas are planted by prioritizing the areas determined by the TRNC Forestry Department. If you donate your individual saplings especially for a certain area, you can contact the TRNC Forestry Department regarding the planting area and choose your planting area.

The trees to be planted due to the climate conditions of Cyprus are specified in the updated information section. Mostly planted types of trees are as follows.

Pine (Red Pine): 68%

Cypress: 12%

Juniper: 9%

The planted saplings are maintained by the TRNC Forestry Department. For detailed information, you can get information from the TRNC Forestry Department.

For now, you can make your donation with your Northern Cyprus Turkcell postpaid line on the www.efidankibris.com website, in return for UBAN, IBAN and bank account numbers or donation receipt, to the TRNC Forestry Department.

You can download your digital certificate to your computer by entering your donated phone number and the confirmation code received via SMS. It is not possible to edit name information at this stage.

In accordance with the TRNC Forestry Law, signage is not positioned in forest areas. You can get detailed information on the subject from the TRNC Forestry Department.

Names of persons / institutions that donate 1000 or more for the afforestation of burning forests will be placed on a single sign if they submit their donations with a receipt and / or a receipt.

All of the account information we have specified are the account numbers of the Ministry of Finance / Forestry Department. The amount you donate is transferred to the account opened by the Ministry of Finance for the Forestry Department.

If you donate with your KKTCELL line, the entire amount is transferred to the account of the Forestry Department, just like the donation you make from the same account numbers. Green Schools is a project that aims to reinforce environmental/nature awareness, initiated by GİKAD and Final International University, in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education and North Cyprus Turkcell, with the participation of schools through the digital donation platform. Among the schools participating in the project, the school that collects the most sapling donations will be selected as the 'green school' and will be rewarded within the scope of the project.

The Green Schools project, which started on February 19, 2024, will end on June 3, 2024. All donations must be made and receipts submitted by this date. Donations made after 6:00 PM on June 3 will not be processed for the Green Schools project.
